Description

This rare contemporary artwork 110 cm × 85 cm is founded on a unique concept that brings together two exceptional rarities: Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as a singular humanitarian figure in the history of mankind, and meteorites as among the rarest materials found on Earth. The artwork is composed entirely of iron meteorites classified as Category IIICD, aged over 4.3 billion years, predating the formation of the Earth itself. Every visible black tone, metallic texture, and stone element is created exclusively from meteorite fragments and finely powdered meteorite material. Surrounding cosmic trajectories symbolize the universe, time, and the celestial origin of the materials, reinforcing the timeless dimension of Sheikh Zayed’s legacy. The artwork is signed by Australian amateur artist Victor Pragas, in his eighties, and is presented within six museum-grade frames using specialized glass employed by leading international museums. This artwork is now proudly preserved within the Noor Royal Museum.
